Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Torpedo Comics. All orders are processed within 2–3 business days of receipt. Orders are not processed or shipped from Friday, 12 pm PST through Sunday, or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, we will contact you via email or phone.


Expedited and Overnight Orders

Torpedo Comics does not offer overnight shipping on any orders through any of our online sales channels. Torpedo Comics only offers expedited shipping on orders by special request. If you would like to arrange for one of your orders to be shipped through an expedited shipping method please contact us at Ecomm@TorpedoComics.com.

Shipment to P.O Boxes
Torpedo Comics can ship orders to addresses within the US, US Territories, along with APO/FPO/DPO addresses. 


International & Canadian Addresses

Torpedo Comics does not offer shipping or delivery to any Canadian or International addresses.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Torpedo Comics is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility. This includes tariffs, taxes, and other fees.


Damages

If your order arrives damaged and or appears to be lost in transit, please do not hesitate to contact us at Ecomm@TorpedoComics.com within seven days of delivery. Our team is here to help. 


Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery

Torpedo Comics will make every effort to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it is recognized as a valid address by UPS and or USPS. If we are unable to validate your address, Torpedo Comics will contact the customer in order to acquire an updated address. If the customer does not provide an updated address, the order will be cancelled and refunded. However, Torpedo Comics is not liable for any consequences arising from the provision of an address that is valid but incorrect.

Missing or Stolen Shipments

If you did not receive your order, but received a notification that your package has been delivered, please contact us as soon as possible at Ecomm@TorpedoComics.com. We will file a claim with the shipping carrier from our end. Please allow us up to 30 days to allow both Torpedo Comics and the shipping carrier involved to investigate the situation. Local law enforcement will be involved. Subsequently Torpedo Comics will either replace or refund the order once the investigation is rendered complete.

Tax Calculation

The amount of tax charged on your order depends on many factors and varies by state. For general tax purposes, Nevada and California state sales tax is most frequently used when information is not supplied during initial invoicing and is subject to change when information is received. These factors can change between the time you place an order and when your shipment is complete. As a result, the tax calculated on your order may change. We display an "Estimated Tax” to be collected at check out when confirming an order. The amounts displayed as estimated tax may then be updated later when your order is finalized and completed. The tax rate applied to your order will be combined state and local rates of the address where your order is delivered to or fulfilled from. For example, if you live in a state that does not impose a sales tax, you may still see tax calculated on your order if shipped to another state. Moreover, the tax rates applied to your order may be different for a variety of reasons, such as a shipment to a residential home versus a business address. Also the total selling price of an item will generally include item-level shipping and handling charges, item-level discounts, and gift-wrapping charges. If applied at an order level, these charges may be allocated to the individual items in an order. If you are ordering and shipping to a country outside of the US, you may be charged the applicable country tax rate.

Refund Policy

Refunds may be arranged at the sole discretion of the Torpedo Comics Management Team. Any refund will be made using your original payment method or another method at our discretion. To claim a refund or for further information please contact us at Ecomm@TorpedoComics.com


Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be approved by the Torpedo Comics Management Team. More than 3 cancellations on an invoice will result in being blocked from all live sale purchases.


Processing Time

Processing time is 3 to 5 business days and 7 business days for backorder or preorder items once we have received payment. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays. All Items are shipped USPS Priority. Please note: We are responsible for your purchase until it reaches the Post Office. After that, it is out of our control. Insurance is to protect against loss or damage during shipping. All purchases are shipped by USPS and insured through USPS.


USPS INSURANCE

For orders over $1,000 USD, your package will have USPS insurance and will be sent requiring an adult signature at the time of delivery. For packages under $1,000 USD, you may purchase insurance for an additional cost. Please be sure to advise our invoicing team: Ecomm@torpedocomics.com, that you would like to purchase USPS shipping insurance. If your shipment is lost or damaged in transit, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO FILE THE CLAIM WITH USPS.


WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES DURING TRANSIT.

 Please make sure your address is correct before placing your order. It is your responsibility to provide a correct address. We are not responsible for an incorrect address. We are not responsible for shipments sent to forwarding services or companies. You are responsible for contacting your forwarding company to locate your shipment. Packages are NOT insured unless purchased. If you would like to purchase insurance for your package, please make sure you advise the invoicing team.


WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE TO WEATHER RELATED DAMAGE OR DELAYS. 

Once the package leaves our hands it is completely out of our control. We are not responsible for packages once it transfers to USPS. It is the responsibility of USPS to deliver and handle concerns for shipping delays or lost/damaged packages. You will not be refunded for the purchase from us if USPS loses or damages the package unless you purchase the additional available insurance. If your package is returned to us, we will contact you to advise you we received your package back and then you are responsible to provide us with the correct address to be shipped back to you and for the additional shipping costs.


SHIPPING FEES ARE NONREFUNDABLE

 Please make sure all addresses are correct before placing your order, we will not refund shipping fees for a wrong address on your part or returned shipments.


WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CUSTOMS FEES OR SHIPPING FEES YOU WILL INCUR OR FOR INTERNATIONAL OR CUSTOMS DELAYS.

 Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing if you will incur a customs fee or not. If you do, we are not responsible for such fees nor will be refunded/reimbursed. Once the shipment leaves the USA, we can no longer track your shipment. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PACKAGES BEING HELD AT CUSTOMS. Again, once it leaves our hands you assume all risks.
